The project AREACODES circled around topics such as: security, urbanisme, escape, media construction.

The german TV-show “Aktenzeichen XY” that exists since the 60ties supports the police in catching criminals by encouraging the audience to watch out for them – therefore the area where you receive the programm gets under conrol and becomes safer.
Part of the show are filmic reconstructions of crimes put in scene as mini-crime-dramas.
We have been on the scene of crime (Tatort) which turned into the film-location. We then mixed our own making-of material with the finished and aired tv-show.
